Mary Carmichael

Mary Carmichael helps leaders turn strategy into execution, translating technology and AI ambitions into outcomes teams can deliver. As Director, Technology Strategy & Risk at Momentum Technology, she works closely with executives to align investments with business priorities, strengthen governance, and streamline processes.

With more than 15 years of experience across public, private, and nonprofit sectors, Mary brings a strong business and financial lens to complex technology decisions. A CPA and CFE, she also holds CISA, CISM, and CRISC certifications.

She is an AI Research Fellow at Toronto Metropolitan University’s Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst, focused on third-party AI risk management. A longtime leader within ISACA, she served as Past President of the ISACA Vancouver Chapter, is a Global SheLeadsTech Advocate, and regularly writes and speaks on emerging risk and governance topics. In 2026, she received the ISACA Global Chapter Leadership Award for her leadership and service to the profession.
