Lo Khai Yi is the Co-Head of the Technology Practice Group at Halim Hong & Quek, with a strong focus on telecommunications, regulatory compliance, and digital infrastructure. He advises major telcos, enterprise tech companies, and digital service providers on licensing, spectrum regulation, and data protection. His experience spans both regulatory advisory and commercial transactions across the telecoms and technology sectors. Khai Yi currently serves as the appointed Data Protection Officer for over 20 companies and sits on the drafting working committee with the Personal Data Protection Commissioner, where he contributes actively to the development of Malaysia’s evolving privacy and data governance framework.
