Director leading the Digital Trust & Cybersecurity practice within Risk Assurance in PwC Malaysia. He has over a decade of experience working with large, complex multinational corporations, as well as local middle market clients in the Asia Pacific region, to address cybersecurity, privacy, third party risk and information management concerns. Amongst the clients he has serviced include multinational and local financial institutions, local conglomerate and some of the largest Fintech company in this region. Clarence spent 4 years in the Technology Risk Advisory practice in PwC London, where he worked with the largest FTSE clients providing advice on governance, risk and compliance matters in the area of enterprise applications implementation, including formulating strategies to address digital transformation risks and compliance concerns.
He is currently a member of the Association of Cybersecurity Assessor of Kuala Lumpur (Persatuan Penguji Keselamatan Siber Kuala Lumpur) and leads a team of professional ethical hackers within PwC Malaysia providing Ethical Hacking, Red Team, Threat and Vulnerability Management, Malware Analysis and Incident Response services to local and regional clients. Clarence is an appointed member of Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) Digital Expert Panel (DXP) – Cybersecurity, for the year 2020/2021 and have also co-authored a thought leadership publication with Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers (AICB) titled “Building a Cyber Resilient Financial Institution”.
