Balancing Innovation & Security - A Practitioner's Perspective 

Digitalization is all the buzz nowadays and organizations will be left behind if they do not fully embrace it. This is especially true with the Covid-19 pandemic accelerating the digitalisation journey and changing the way many businesses operate.

 

In what is seemingly a sprint to do so, there are various aspects from technology, process and people perspectives that needs to be considered and addressed by organizations before they go on board. If these are not thought through and managed wisely, there will be a plethora of cybersecurity risk and governance issues that needs to be managed which will ultimately impact the business one way or another.

 

It is indeed a huge task to meet the ever-increasing expectations of being cyber-secure and thus it should be a made a priority for organizations to get a good grasp of doing so in their digitization journey.
