​Shahariz Abdul Aziz

Shahariz Abdul Aziz is currently the Director of Digital Transformation in Bank Islam. He oversees all program and project implementation delivery, owns and operationalizes the enterprise architecture of the bank, and drives the establishment of new digital capabilities such as Big Data, Open API, Cloud, etc.

 

He has over 20 years of experience in delivering innovative and large-scale business and technology transformation projects primarily in banking, insurance, and capital market sectors for both Islamic & Conventional. He has been involved in projects in various parts of Asia, Europe and the Middle East and specializes in program management and solutions implementation in large-scale business and technology transformation programs. In addition, he has also been at the forefront of many ‘turn-key’ projects for prominent clients, including a Regional Core Banking transformation, a National Provident Fund’s Business Transformation, a Global Bank’s customer service transformation, a Digital Bank’s license application and the setup and operationalization of a new Bank and Takaful business.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Systems Engineering from Imperial College, UK.
