Tichaona Zororo

Tichaona Zororo, CIA, CISA, CISM, CRMA, CRISC, CDPSE, CGEIT, COBIT Certified Assessor is a Digital Transformation and Innovation Advisory Executive with EGIT | Enterprise Governance of IT (Pty) Ltd. He is an advisor to a number of Boards and Boards of Directors, IT and business leaders across the Globe on the utilisation of Digital Technologies to create and preserve stakeholder value, create new Business Models, Governance and Management of Enterprise IT, IT Risk, Cybersecurity, Digital and Digital Transformation and IT Auditing. He is a Non-Executive Director and an Audit & Risk Committee Member. Tichaona was involved in the development of a number of ISACA and other organisations research papers on COBIT, Big Data, Mobility, Cloud Computing, IT Governance, Cybersecurity, Social Media, Digital and Artificial Intelligence. A renowned COBIT expert, advisor and accredited trainer, Tichaona is credited for being the first COBIT Certified Assessor in Southern Africa, the first African and person from Africa to sit on the ISACA Board of Directors [2016- 2017, 2017-2018, 2018 – 2019 and 2019 - 2020] and chair its Audit and Risk Committee [2017-2018 and 2018 – 2019]. He was voted the best speaker Africa and Asia CACS 2017. Tichaona served on the ISACA Framework Committee, CGEIT Test Enhancement Subcommittee and the External Advocacy Committee. He served on the ISACA South Africa Chapter Board since 2012; He was its Board Chair 2016 – 2018, Vice Board Chair 2014 – 2016 and is currently the Immediate Past President.

 

A natural strategist, Tichaona is a recipient of the prestigious ISACA Harold Weiss Award and was recently inducted into ISACA’s Hall of Fame.
